1st day: Bagnoli del Trigno (Is)
Arrival in Bagnoli del Trigno and accommodation in Dimora Rurale. Departure for the guided tour of the village of Pietracupa and introduction to the Morge and the Morge Park.
"LE MORGE" are spikes of rock emerging from the ground, in the specific case they are tufaceous stratifications of marine sedimentation dating back to the Pliocene period. The air seems impregnated with a faint smell of the sea. Since ancient times they have been used as a solid support for residential settlements and there the man carved stairs, basins, caves, ovens and much more.
Return to the Dimora Rurale, dinner with typical dishes of the local tradition. Overnight.
2nd day: Tratturo Celano – Foggia
Breakfast. short off-road vehicle trip to the Tratturo Celano-Foggia, start of the trek along the Via delle Morge. (18km course with elevation gains +700; -850). Arrival in Trivento and guided tour of the village. On the way back stop in San Biase to visit a renowned local company for the production of sausages.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
3rd day: Tratturo Lucera – Castel di Sangro
Breakfast. Short transfer by Jeep to Duronia and start of trekking on the Tratturo Lucera-Castel di Sangro. (Distance 14 km elevation gain +450; -800). Arrival at the "Rocca di Oratino". Visit to the village-museum of Casalciprano with homemade ice cream tasting. Return to the Dimora Rurale, relax, dinner and overnight stay.
4th day: Goodbye Molise
Breakfast and check-out. Departure for your destination of origin or extension of your stay in Molise with our other proposals.
